Sparrow Quantum secures record seed funding!
Recently, our client Sparrow Quantum secured the largest investment to date in a Danish quantum technology company, namely 31 million DKK (€4.1 million) in seed funding. As an outcome of a successful proposal done in collaboration with Innovayt for the EIC Accelerator funding instrument, the European Innovation Council (EIC) Fund is one of the new investors.
In addition to the EIC, LIFTT co-invested while the venture capital firm 2xN led the funding round. Sparrow Quantum states in their press release: “This financing is a testament to the investors’ belief in the promise of photonic quantum technology as well as Sparrow Quantum’s world-leading expertise in foundational quantum photonics devices”.
