Innovayt’s work with mobilising Copenhagen SMEs extended

Since 2015, Innovayt has been engaged by Brussels-based Greater Copenhagen EU Office for helping to screen and mobilise companies from The Capital Region of Denmark to engage in international innovation activities. Innovayt’s work is based on the proven iFacilitator method for enterprise mobilisation, which has served as the basis for more than 10 successful mobilisation processes in different regions in recent years.

The ongoing CopenVirk mobilisation project has been highly successful in mobilising a large number of SMEs and created many EU applications in the Capital Region, and recently also the Zealand Region. Since 2015, the effort has resulted in more than €31.5 million for 55 companies, and with added funding from universities and other partners also coming from the Greater Copenhagen area.

Based on this success, Greater Copenhagen EU Office has exercised their option to extend the CopenVirk project for a further year, until mid-2020. We very much look forward to keeping up the high service levels and results achieved for local SMEs in recent years with regard to EU innovation funding.
