Norway Health Tech x Innovayt // Grant Consulting
Norway Health Tech is a cluster of companies, hospitals, finance, knowledge, and research institutions focusing on healthcare technologies. The objective of Norway Health Tech is to contribute to the development of an internationally competitive health technology industry in Norway.
Participation in European research projects has significant tangible benefits for both companies and research organisations. Besides additional funding of their R&D costs, participants benefit from access to state-of-the-art knowledge through partners as well as to new markets, customers, and suppliers. This is reflected in the Norway Health Tech strategy, as the organisation works actively to mobilise international collaborative project development services to its members.
In order to further strengthen this service, Norway Health Tech entered into a collaboration agreement with Innovayt to assist in the development and quality assurance of funding applications, thereby increasing the likelihood of success.
The overall goal of this collaboration is to leverage successful project proposals, within the core areas of Norway Health Tech members. Since 2014, Innovayt has helped in finding partners and in the development of numerous project proposals, with a focus on the Eurostars programme and the SME Instrument under Horizon Europe. This collaboration has resulted in a high number of funded projects.
We have used Innovayt’s assistance in proposal development several times and are very satisfied. Their assistance in proposal review and quality assurance have allowed us to significantly improve the quality of contents as well as increased the likelihood of securing the grants
– Waqar Ahmed, EU advisor at Norway Health Tech
EU funding is a very intimidating process for most organisations as it is highly competitive, has various rules and procedures, and involves a language of its own. Consequently, putting off a lot of high potentials for delivering societal value. We have worked together with Innovayt for over 6 years, acting as partners to our cluster members, lowering the threshold and securing significant EU funding in Norway. This doesn’t happen by chance – our combined screening processes and the in-depth capacity at Innovayt are a premium combination and engine for good results!
