Rodrigo Oliveira

As an Innovation Consultant, Rodrigo supports clients in securing funding for cutting-edge scientific research, technological development, and demonstration projects. His work spans a broad range of EU and Danish funding programs, including Research and Innovation Actions (RIAs), EIC Pathfinder and Accelerator, EUREKA programs (Eurostars and Eureka Quantum), Innobooster, and Grand Solutions. Rodrigo brings particular expertise in systems biology, neuroscience, and AI/ML, contributing to projects involving emerging AI technologies, digital innovation, and their integration into multidisciplinary efforts such as drug repurposing, glioblastoma clinical trials, and cybersecurity infrastructure.

Rodrigo holds an MSc and PhD in Computational Neuroscience from the University of São Paulo (Brazil). With a background in clinical psychology and a specialization in cognitive behavioral therapy, his career bridges health sciences, computational neuroscience, and digital technologies. He has international research experience in systems neuroscience, including the development of rodent behavioral tasks and integration of optogenetics with in vivo electrophysiology. Beyond his scientific research, Rodrigo has worked on prototyping scientific devices, applying AI/ML techniques, and writing scientific grants, papers, and reports. His passion for mentoring and continuous learning further enriches his collaborative approach to innovation consulting.
