Miguel Pinheiro

Miguel, as a Partner and Director of International Business Development, supports executives and researchers in shaping their R&D roadmaps by analyzing funding opportunities, contributing to technical fundraising and innovation strategy discussions, and crafting compelling content for funding proposals. His experience spans multiple technical domains, with a strong focus on innovations at the intersection of Health and IT, and covers a range of funding instruments including Horizon Europe’s EIC Accelerator, Doctoral Networks, Eureka’s Eurostars, and national programs in Denmark, Norway, and Germany.

Miguel holds a PhD in Marketing and Strategy and an MSc in Biomedical Engineering, both from University of Minho (Portugal). Before joining Innovayt, he lectured Marketing and Management at the University of Minho (Portugal), contributing to both undergraduate and graduate programs. He also worked as a Science Communication Officer at a university research center, gaining valuable experience in translating complex scientific concepts for diverse audiences.
