João Costa

João, as the Financial Controller, is responsible for accounting oversight, financial reporting, project management, and data analytics, while also serving as the primary liaison with business intelligence (BI) suppliers. Managing these processes within a growing multinational environment has been both challenging and rewarding. Above all, João values the collaborative and inspiring team at Innovayt, which continues to be a key source of motivation in his work.

João holds a Bachelor’s degree in Management from University of Porto (Portugal) and a Master’s degree in Finance from Católica Porto Business School (Portugal). Prior to joining Innovayt, he worked as a financial consultant at a boutique consultancy, where he gained extensive experience in financial and management control, business and project valuations, M&A support, strategic consulting, and business planning. He also developed significant expertise in writing and managing Portuguese grants.
