Débora Ferreira

Débora is a Partner and serves as Director of Academic Services. Débora has extensive experience preparing and managing innovation project proposals across diverse technological domains such as renewable energy, bioengineering, photonics, and biomedical engineering. Her deep understanding of European funding instruments has been instrumental in successfully developing numerous proposals, resulting in the approval of over 40 projects and securing significant EU funding.

Débora holds a PhD in Bioengineering Systems from the MIT-Portugal Programme, an interdisciplinary experience that significantly enhanced her expertise in technical innovation and leadership. Her academic background spans a broad spectrum of scientific disciplines, including Mathematics, Physics, Biology, Chemistry, Materials Science, Mechanics, Electronics, Human Physiology, and Economic Sciences. Her time at MIT exposed her to a cutting-edge, collaborative research environment that greatly influenced her professional trajectory and personal growth.
