Ana Rita Castro

As an Innovation Consultant, Ana Rita has extensive experience with European and international funding instruments. Her expertise spans various funding programs, including the EIC Accelerator, Horizon Europe Innovation Actions (RIA/IA), MSCA Doctoral Networks (MSCA-DN), and Norwegian IPN programmes. Ana Rita actively leverages her knowledge in biotechnology, business strategy, and project management to support clients in driving innovation and securing funding for diverse and ambitious projects.

Ana Rita holds a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Porto (Portugal), complemented by an MBA from ISAG European Business School (Portugal). With a strong academic foundation in Bioengineering and over 7 years of industry-driven experience in biomedical and clinical translational research, she brings valuable interdisciplinary insights to Innovayt’s team and projects.
