Innovayt revisits and revises our vision, mission, and values

Around one year ago, we initiated the process to revisit our vision, mission, and values. Besides minor adjustments and updates, our vision, mission, and values had not been properly revisited for some time. During this time, our company and team have grown, services have evolved, and surroundings have changed, calling for a revisit to keep ourselves alert and ahead.

Together with the entire team, through seminars and workshops led by our Brand and Communications Manager, Louise Jönsson, we carefully discussed what we want to be, what we do, and what we stand for. The results aligned with already implemented strategies but introduced a broadened focus, simplified language, and elaborated descriptions to clearly communicate and represent our company. Add value to clients and society by strengthening innovation capability and performance. We believe that innovation is key to driving global progress and solving grand challenges, ranging from curing diseases to achieving climate neutrality. That is why we continuously need to strengthen innovation.

It is important that we do our part right – from how we perform our services, where we comply with the relevant Codes of Ethics, to how we manage and recruit our team. We work with innovation projects that hold positive impact, adhering to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The work we have done during the past year to revisit and revise our vision, mission, and values, has been truly rewarding. Not only has it resulted in a set of reformulated statements that will provide direction for Innovayt in years to come, but it has also spurred discussions and dialogue throughout the organisation, bringing out a lot of bright ideas and initiatives.

As an example, Morten mentions introducing a standing Ethics Committee within Innovayt to structure how we assess and manage ethical considerations that are invoked during our work with technology projects. “Of course, this is only one example of how we will continue to put action behind our words” says Morten and adds:
