Innovayt appoints Miguel Pinheiro as partner

Innovayt is overjoyed to appoint Miguel Pinheiro as one among four new partners with effect from 1 July 2021. Miguel holds a MSc in Biomedical Engineering and PhD in Marketing and Strategy from the University of Minho (Portugal), which reflects his passion for mixing disciplines. Miguel is a technology enthusiast with a deep-seated curiosity and strong willingness to both learn as well as teach. Already, Miguel has taught a few hundreds of hours of graduate and master classes at the University of Minho. In addition, Miguel is constantly looking for ways to optimize work for himself and others, in such that learning and doing becomes even more effective.

Miguel has been with Innovayt since October 2015 and comments on his new position by stating:

I am honoured for this invitation and humbled to be trusted with a role in the future growth of Innovayt. I am keen on taking an active role in growing our top- and bottom-line as well as diversifying our revenue mix, while tendering for our key asset; the amazing team built by the founders.

More specifically, Miguel has been appointed Partner and Director of International Business Development, which means that he will oversee the growth of business in markets where Innovayt’s footprint is yet small but prime for acceleration as well as scout new markets for expansion and diversification. This translates into expanding current services and customer portfolio as well as supporting the local teams leading that growth.

Miguel further comments on the value he himself and Innovayt provides to clients: “I am eager to help our clients plan multi-year and multi-project R&D funding strategies, find the best grants that fit each stage of their innovation and follow along their successful journey. More and more, these journeys involve national and EU grants as well as private equity or venture capital, and our clients can count on me and Innovayt to fully support them in all fundraising activities”.
