Romanos Kotoulas
Romanos, as an Innovation Consultant, works across projects in sustainability, green energy and climate innovation. He conducts background research, contributes to the preparation of funding proposals and helps shape project ideas, with a focus on both National programmes and EU frameworks. He supports consortia in translating climate challenges into clear, fundable solutions, emphasising robust workplans, impact pathways and policy relevance.
Romanos holds an MSc in Environmental and Natural Resource Economics from the University of Copenhagen (Denmark) and a BSc in Economics from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (Greece). His academic work and interests centre on the economics of climate change, sustainability and the design of policy instruments and funding schemes that enable mitigation and the transition to low-carbon systems. Romanos is drawn to projects that combine technical innovation with clear economic and policy cases for scaling impact.
