Cristina Fernandes
As an Innovation Consultant, Cristina is responsible for supporting clients in developing competitive proposals for scientific research and technological development. Cristina’s expertise covers a broad range of international programs such as H2020, Horizon Europe, and Eurostars, along with national funding initiatives in Norway and Denmark.
Cristina holds a PhD in Materials Engineering from the University of Minho (Portugal), where her doctoral research focused on the development and characterization of TiCxOy thin films. After completing her PhD, Cristina gained industry experience at Covipor, a glass processing company within the Saint-Gobain group, focusing on production optimization and logistics. Subsequently, she conducted postdoctoral research at the University of Minho, concentrating on Supply Chain Quality Management with practical applications at Car Bosch Multimedia. Cristina also lectured in Master’s programs related to Quality Management at institutions including the University of Minho, IPCA, and Lusíadas University, and possesses extensive experience in implementing quality management systems (ISO 9001), Lean Management, HACCP, Auditing, and OSH.
