Cátia Pereira (on leave)

As an Innovation Consultant, Cátia has been actively involved in developing Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Doctoral Network projects, contributing significantly to proposal development and consulting.

Cátia holds a PhD in Molecular and Environmental Biology and an MSc in Molecular Genetics, both from the University of Minho (Portugal), as well as a BSc in Genetics and Biotechnology from the University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro (Portugal). Before joining Innovayt, she accumulated over 10 years of academic research experience in the Health and Biotechnology fields, including postdoctoral research in Biotechnology and Metagenomics at the University of Minho (Portugal). Throughout her academic career, Cátia has earned multiple awards for outstanding scientific communication, organized scientific and public outreach events, and served as a reviewer for prestigious journals in Health and Biotechnology. She also possesses extensive experience in laboratory management and project proposal development within the Life Sciences and Biomedical Engineering sectors.
