Athanasios Voukalis

As a Researcher at Innovayt, Athanasios provides administrative support, conducts in-depth research on funding opportunities, and routinely steps into ad-hoc assignments across the organisation to ensure teams have the resources they need.

Athanasios holds an Integrated Master’s in Environmental Engineering from Democritus University of Thrace (Greece), where his thesis focused on hydrogen production, and he is currently pursuing an MSc in Sustainable Energy Systems at DTU (Denmark). His academic training gives him a solid foundation in energy systems and sustainable technologies. Before moving to Denmark, he completed an internship at GeoAnalysis S.A., a technical survey firm collaborating with the Greek Land Registry, and served in the Greek Air Force, attaining the rank of sergeant.
