Innovayt appoints Reinaldo Ramos as partner

Innovayt is thrilled to appoint Reinaldo Ramos as one among four new partners with effect from 1 July 2021. After graduating in Biological Engineering, Reinaldo completed both a MSc and PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Minho (Portugal), where he continued to conduct research for nine years. Reinaldo has worked across several research fields including enzyme engineering, biomaterials, cell culture, molecular biology and recombinant DNA methods, fermentation and DSP, immunology and animal experiments.

This year, Reinaldo celebrates ten years at Innovayt, on which he comments: “I have gained an extensive experience in many EU and national projects across many different areas, which have involved working with single SMEs as well as large consortia of universities and companies”.

Besides the involvement in projects, Reinaldo has managed key accounts with universities, focusing among others on discussing ideas and funding opportunities with researchers, as well as had an active role in mentoring colleagues. Reinaldo now embraces the position as Partner and Director of Academic Services.

As Partner and Director of Academic Services, Reinaldo will lead and coordinate Innovayt’s consultancy services towards universities and research organisations, with a strong focus on proactive engagement of researchers in EU proposals and projects.
