The Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Biosustainability, located in Hørsholm north of Copenhagen, has signed up Innovayt to assist the Center in optimising its work with external funding applications and collaborative research projects.
As the first activities under the iGenerator cooperation, Innovayt has performed an extensive Grant Scan covering the Center’s 6 research sections.
The Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Biosustainability holds state-of-the-art research expertise, unifying the technological and scientific bioengineering expertise required to develop new cell factories for the manufacture of valuable chemicals in a sustainable way. The center is organized in 6 research sections and a Core Flow which aims at platform strain and technology development purposes. The Center has strong collaborative ties to leading research environments in Europe: the Department of Systems Biology, DTU, the Department of Plant Biology and Biotechnology, University of Copenhagen, Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) in Stockholm, Sweden and Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg, Sweden.
