In 2014 Innovayt established a Framework Agreement with Oslo MedTech for reviews of proposals to funding instruments under H2020 and related programmes.
So far, the cooperation has produced strong results: One successful Eurostars project, ranked 3rd in overall European ranking and two projects approved under H2020 SME instrument. Most recently, the Biocure project was approved under the H2020-BIOTEC programme and received a grant of 1.3 million EUR. The proposal scored 14,12 out of 15.
The Biocure project aims to pursue a major market opportunity by developing a novel biomaterial based cost effective wound dressings that can be used for initial treatment of all wounds at risk of delayed or no healing, is potentially more effective, much more easily scalable and significantly lower in cost when compared with the available advanced wound healing products.
