SME Instrument Phase II: Ultrasonic Technology for Energy Savings

Following a successful Phase 1 proposal to the Horizon 2020 SME Instrument, Innovayt has helped to secure Phase 2 funding for German Sonotec.

The objective of E-SAVING ULTRASONICS project is to adapt a game-changing technology based on ultrasound that achieves great benefits by saving energy and reducing carbon emissions for users of predictive maintenance solutions. SONOTEC’s innovation project E-SAVING ULTRASONICS will bring a new solution to the market of industrial maintenance by defining a new state-of-the-art in ultrasonic technology featuring new sensors, electronics and cutting-edge application software. The novel solution will be especially relevant in leak detection and evaluation of compressed air systems, and diagnostics of wear, friction and faults in machinery.
