Innovayt recently signed a contract with the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança (IPB). Under the agreement, Innovayt will assist SMEs within the Portuguese Agro-Food industry with the preparation of project applications for the EU’s 7th Framework Program for Research.
IPB is a public institution of higher education. The Mountain Research Centre (CIMO) is a multidisciplinary research centre focused on mountain issues. It was founded in 2002 within the School of Agriculture of the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança, and since 2003 it is part of the national research network funded by the Portuguese Science and Technology Foundation (FCT). CIMO aims at studying and developing mountain natural resources, forest and agriculture ecosystems, and local products in order to develop sustainable systems economically, socially and environmentally.
Innovayt’s assistance includes partnering activities and planning of proposals as well as reviewing content and quality assurance.
