Innovayt has won an EU Tender process issued by the Copenhagen EU Office for consultancy services to help mobilise companies from the Capital Region engage in international innovation activities. In the project, Innovayt will assist in validation and maturing of project ideas from local companies with a view to securing funding from European programmes. Also, Innovayt will offer courses in the preparation of successful funding applications. Innovayt's work is based on the proven iFacilitator method for enterprise mobilization, which has now served as the basis for more than 10 successful mobilization processes in different regions in recent years.
The forthcoming mobilization project will build on the successful CopenVirk project, which has already mobilized a large number of SMEs and created many EU applications in the Capital Region since 2015. Presently, more than 80 project applications have been created. 25 of these have been successful in securing funding, so far generating 34 million DKK in return for the region.
Partner Thomas Elmbæk Knudsen, Innovayt's project manager for CopenVirk, said: "We are pleased and proud to win this tender, thus continuing our cooperation with Copenhagen EU Office to create growth in the region's businesses through international innovation and EU support programs."
The new mobilization project runs from July 2017 to June 2019 with the option of a further two-year extension.
