A consortium led by Innovayt has been selected to implement a coordination and support action aimed at mobilizing a European community of business innovation coaches and at establishing an infrastructure of coaching and performance tracking tools, which will support the beneficiaries under the new Horizon 2020 SME instrument.
The project, coined CoachCom2020, will ensure the fast implementation of a comprehensive and professional coaching community through a series of learning events and support infrastructures – ultimately to the benefit of the European SMEs participating in the new dedicated SME instrument under Horizon 2020. Based on a robust and tested systems approach, CoachCom2020 will put in place and implement a coaching community methodology and platform with embedded quality assurance measures, ready to tackle the pressing requirements of the first months following the start of the first SME Instrument projects in the fall of 2014.
Innovayt is set to implement the project along with 6 renowned partners from Switzerland, the UK, France, Luxembourg and Lithuania - covering the whole bandwidth of expertise required to implement the coaching system. The consortium is currently finalizing the preparation of the grant agreement with the European Commission. CoachCom2020 will have a duration of 24 months and receive a grant of approximately 0,76 million EUR.
