An open-source platform for applications and device drivers for the healthcare sector. This vision is about to become a reality with the project CareStore.
Innovayt has helped a consortium of 3 SMEs (Sekoia ApS, Deosite, Rommerskirchen GbR) and 3 research partners (Aarhus University, University of Minho, Institut de Recherche en Systèmes Electroniques Embarqués) with the preparation of a successful proposal for the EU’s 7th Framework Programme – Research for the benefit of SMEs. The project has been favourably evaluated by independent experts and will receive a grant of approximately €1.4 million.
“We have been absolutely pleased to work with Innovayt A/S and their team of consultants. The assistance and counselling we have received, has been unique and of very high quality. In the consortium, we are now looking forward to embarking on an interesting journey, opening up a major market opportunity for the collaborating SMEs. We will highly recommend Innovayt’s services”. Morten Mathiesen, Coordinator of the CareStore project and Head of Communication at Sekoia ApS.
The project will run for 2 years and aims at developing an open-source CareStore platform based on advanced recognition and identification technology and seamless device configuration. Specifically, the consortium intends to develop a shared and open online CareStore, a marketplace for easy deployment of applications and device drivers to be deployed in the healthcare domain.
