Innovayt has assisted a consortium of leading Danish wind industry suppliers – LM Wind Power Blades, Svendborg Brakes, and kk-electronic – in their successful bid for an 8 year lease of a wind turbine test station in Høvsøre, Denmark. In the bidding process, Innovayt contributed to the presentation of the joint research programme to be implemented by the consortium at the site.
Together, the consortium represents globally strong market players, each holding different roles in the overall wind industry supply chain. All the partners share ambitions to position themselves as technology forerunners in the years to come, as this is a simple requirement for sustained success in the wind power industry. Winning the test site will be a key aspect in fulfilling this ambition. The consortium is already investing heavily in research and development, and is engaged in a number of collaborative R&D projects, several of which will be implemented at the Høvsøre site.
