2024 highlights!

The year is about to draw to a close, looking back on 2024, here are our top highlights.

Exciting collaborations, projects, deadlines, and wins!

All to help clients drive global progress through innovation in everything from healthcare and life sciences to energy and sustainability. To name a few, HoloCare secured a €8.9M Horizon Europe grant to transform how clinicians see and interact with medical images; Hyme secured €2.5M in grant and €15M in equity investment from the EIC Accelerator to redefine energy storage and consumption; and the Greater Copenhagen EU Office extended their successful CopenVirk service, mobilising SMEs from the Capital Region of Denmark and Zealand Region to engage in international innovation activities, where Innovayt won the tender and remains the lead consultancy supplier. Thanks to clients and collaboration partners, as well as kudos to our team!

Staying in contact with previous clients and following up on funded projects!

To continuously learn and advance, we touched base with Prof. Wolf-Dieter Fessner and Project Manager Agapi Theodoridou at the Technical University of Darmstadt (TU Darmstadt) about the CC-TOP MSCA project and Prof. Sandy Schmidt at the University of Groningen about the BiodeCCodiNNg project, among others, sharing key learnings from implementing research training and doctoral programmes with support from the MSCA.

Sharing insights into the funding landscape!

Throughout the year, we have organised and participated in various events. For instance, we collaborated with Aleap on different events for health start-ups; joined forces with Nordea at Startup Extreme and during Oslo Innovation Week; and discussed the future we want in a panel at the Nordic Fe:male Invest Summit by Minc.

Meeting up with the vibrant innovation community!

It has been a busy year networking at events such as the Energy Tech Summit, TechBBQ, Startuplab 2030, SWITCH Conference, and Slush, as well as gathering our colleagues for our yearly get-together to nurture our strong team spirit.

Celebrating work anniversaries and promotions, and welcoming new colleagues!

During the year, we have celebrated both ten-year and five-year anniversaries as well as appointed new Senior Consultants and Chief Consultant. We have also welcomed new colleagues, continuing our growth journey. It is a pleasure having you all on our team!

Moving offices in Denmark and Norway!

Last but not least, we moved offices in Denmark and Norway! In Denmark, we moved across town to the brand new Fuglebakken Science Park in Frederiksberg (part of the Symbion Community), as well as opened a satellite office at the BioInnovation Institute in Copenhagen. In Norway, we moved to the other building at the Oslo Science Park. All three locations putting us in the midst of the innovation ecosystem.

We are looking forward to what 2025 will bring.
