Innovayt supports ESA BIC DK and space start-ups

Innovayt has entered a collaboration with The Technical University of Denmark (DTU), hosting the Danish European Space Agency Business Incubation Centre (ESA BIC DK), to support space start-ups with business development and grant funding.

ESA BIC gives entrepreneurs and start-ups the potential to turn space-related ideas and innovations into successful businesses and commercial companies. During the period between 2020 and 2024, ESA BIC DK will support 40 space start-ups. The main objective is to connect successful space start-ups and further strengthen such communities in Denmark, but ESA BIC DK also strives to enable cross-fertilization between ESA BIC start-ups and existing space or non-space companies. Thus, promoting non-space sectors to gain from space-based innovation and services. ESA BIC DK currently hold three incubation hubs, carefully located among active industries, high-tech entrepreneurs and R&D to enhance potential and promising synergies. More precisely, in Aalborg, Aarhus, and Kongens Lyngby. However, ESA BIC DK includes start-ups all over Denmark.

As ESA BIC DK business support partner, Innovayt will provide ESA BIC DK start-ups with advice and activities related to developing and financing the business idea. This collaboration and commitment began in 2020 and will last until 2024. Based on expertise in high quality grant applications, Innovayt will update and assist ESA BIC DK start-ups in opportunities to obtain funding.
