Innovayt enters partnership with BioInnovation Institute

Innovayt has entered a partnership with the BioInnovation Institute (BII), to support the BII start-ups with grant funding services.

With the new partnership, Innovayt will help companies and researchers in BIIs portfolio of start-ups with activities related to company finance and fundraising, making sure that BII companies are kept up to date on grant opportunities.

The activities will range from regular consultation with Innovayt consultants to actual support on grant funding applications. As part of the services offered, Innovayt will deploy consultants at BII premises in Copenhagen for on-demand support for start-ups, who are already co-located with BII as part of their incubator activities.

Soft funding can make a huge difference for early-stage companies. Having an experienced partner with expertise in innovation finance who understands how to navigate in the complex European innovation funding landscape is a great help for the BII start-ups in bringing their science closer to the market. Innovayt is a great fit for BII, and we are very excited to enter into this partnership

– Cathrine Nygaard Christensen, funding specialist at BII.

BioInnovation Institute, founded by the Novo Nordisk Foundation, is an international incubator in Denmark for research-based innovation and entrepreneurship within the areas of Therapeutics, HealthTech and BioIndustrials. BII helps start-up founders with great research-based ideas in life sciences to commercialise their research.

Innovayt CEO Kenneth Glarbo Andersen said:

At Innovayt, we are proud and motivated to get this new partnership off the ground. We already have a number of collaborations with BII start-ups and hope to add our own small contribution to the massive boost which BioInnovation Institute is giving to the Danish Life Science scene.
