Formal training as clinical psychologist with a focus on cognitive behavioural therapy. MSc and PhD on computational neuroscience at USP (Brazil) followed by extensive work in US and Europe in systems neuroscience developing and validating rodent behavioural tasks using optogenetics and in vivo electrophysiology.
